Between these two words lies a country negotiating how to inhabit difference: whether through rupture or relation. This is what gives Disembowel × Join its urgency. The material hypothesis is rooted not only in language, but in the political reality currently being written in Colombia.

Both verbs can coexist within a single action. Here, joining enables disemboweling: the pressure between the two elements triggers the rupture, leaving a mark on the paper. The gesture makes both verbs materially inseparable and reveals a logic associated with war, in which contact itself becomes the condition for violence.
